How did you come to know Jesus was the Christ?
I didn't grow up in a Christian home. I struggled with low self-esteem and depression, and wanted to commit suicide. Just as I was getting really close to suicide, I was befriended by a girl in high school. She was extra nice, so I asked about it, only to find it was Jesus.

I began attending her church. While there, the pastor of the church was teaching about the things that we couldn't change. It so happened that the things that needed changing in my life were the things that only Jesus could change. I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior on July 17, 1996 and have served Him faithfully since. I finally realized that He paid the ultimate price and I couldn't live without Him in my life.

What musical experience do you have?
I took some vocal training courses at Dorolyn Academy of Music in Oak Park, Illinois.

What are your musical influences?
My father was and has been a Latin Jazz musician and singer since before I was born. My mother has also been involved in music since her early years. Really, I have been influenced by anyone who is genuine with their musical talents. I currently listen to mostly praise and worship music: Israel New Breed, Martha Munizzi, Hip Hop like Cross Movement, Flame, etc. I also like Lisa McClendon.

Who have you ministered with in the past?
My performances have been limited to Praise and Worship ministries of the churches I have been affiliated with (Liberty Christian Center and now Living Faith Community Church).

What can you tell us about your musical development?
I was trained at Dorolyn Academy of Music.  Also, simply observing my father and heeding his instruction was a big help.
