“He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

“God is spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. The Father seeks such to worship Him.”

Why does it matter that we have a belief statement? The faith is nothing if it is not a clear understanding of who God is. Take a couple of minutes to read what we believe about God and why we launched this ministry.

Who is Jesus?

What is the Gospel?

What is the Trinity?

What do we believe about the Scriptures?

What is the purpose of this ministry?

Who is Jesus?
(Hebrews 1:1-4; John 1:1-14; and 1 Timothy 3:16)
We believe that Jesus is God in human flesh. He is the eternal Son of God and the exact representation of God the Father. When we say that Jesus is God, we are saying that every statement a person could make about God, they could also make about Jesus. Is God the creator of the Universe? Jesus is the Creator of the Universe.  Can God do all things? Jesus can do all things. Is God eternal? Jesus is Eternal.

In the days of his Flesh, Jesus took on a body and the form of a man. He willingly agreed to put aside the use of his powers as deity in order to live this Life as a man. By living as a perfect, sinless man, he demonstrated to mankind how to love and obey God in a perfect way. He also demonstrated how to love and care for others.

What is the Gospel?
(I Corinthians 15:1-8; Romans 10:9; John 3:16-17; and 1 Timothy 3:16)
The Gospel is the “good news” about how Jesus has restored the gap between God and all human beings
all Creation, for that matter. If a person trusts in Jesus Christ by believing in the following scriptures, the Bible says that he will be saved:

  • Jesus Christ died for our Sins according to the Scriptures;

  • Jesus was buried;

  • Jesus rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures;

  • Jesus is God in the flesh;

  • Jesus appeared to Peter, the other disciples and then to over 500 other believers; and

  • Jesus is Lord, meaning He is Yahweh, the God and Creator of the Universe.

  • Jesus is the Messiah or "Christ" which means that He is the prophesied, promised King and Ruler of the World. He will return to set up a Kingdom here on earth.

What is the Trinity?
The “Trinity” is a term that helps to explain the relationships between the members of the Godhead (i.e., a term that the Scriptures use to designate that God is one being that is made up of three persons). By "persons", we mean that the members of the Godhead are separate persons that can speak with one another, submit to each other, interact with one another and make separate decisions.

The bible calls the members of the Godhead the Father, the Son and the Spirit. Each member of the Godhead has all the characteristics of God. The Father, Son and Spirit are each eternal, holy, perfect, self-existent, all-powerful and all-knowing. The Father sent the Son and the Son submits to the Father. The Spirit was sent by the Son and the Spirit testifies of the Son (John 15:26 and John 16:13). The Son knows the Father intimately (Matthew 11:27 and Luke 10:22) and the Father is pleased with the Son (Matthew 3:17, 17:5).

We call the Godhead the Trinity because this term demonstrates that God is one God who exists in three persons.

What do we believe about the scriptures?
(2 Peter 1:16-21; 2 Timothy 3:16; John 1:1-14 and Luke 24:25-27)
We believe that the bible is the inspired Word of God.

The bible is a collection of writings made by several ancient writers who were moved by the Holy Spirit to write what God wanted to communicate to all men and women (2 Peter 1:16-21). Most importantly, all of scripture comes to its apex in the Person of Jesus Christ; He is the summation and pinnacle of all that God has to say to mankind (Hebrews 1:1-4).

We do not believe that God can add any new revelation to the ultimate revelation set out in Christ. All of the written Word is about Christ, and Christ is the Word made flesh.

What is the purpose of this ministry?

  • Worship of Christ – We hope to teach and exhort all people to worship the Lord Jesus Christ in Spirit and in truth.

  • Edification of the Church – We wish to build up the Body of Christ toward maturity and conformity to Jesus Christ. In other words, we hope that people are taught, encouraged and trained to think and behave like Jesus the Christ.

  • Education of Music Ministers – There is a wide array of things being sung and done by those who are leading Music Ministries. Our goal is to help lead other ministries back to Christ-centered worship, sound doctrine and holy lifestyles.

  • Preaching Christ to the Lost – We sing so that our music may prepare listeners hear to the Preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. "He who has ears, let him hear!”
