“He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” “God is spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. The Father seeks such to worship Him.” Why does it matter that we have a belief statement? The faith is nothing if it is not a clear understanding of who God is. Take a couple of minutes to read what we believe about God and why we launched this ministry. What do we believe about the Scriptures? What is the purpose of this ministry?
Who is
Jesus?
In the days of his Flesh, Jesus took on a body
and the form of a man. He willingly agreed to put aside the use of his
powers as deity in order to live this Life as a man. By living as a
perfect, sinless man, he demonstrated to mankind how to love and obey God
in a perfect way. He also demonstrated how to love and care for others.
What is the
Gospel?
What is
the Trinity? The bible calls the members of the Godhead the Father, the Son and the Spirit. Each member of the Godhead has all the characteristics of God. The Father, Son and Spirit are each eternal, holy, perfect, self-existent, all-powerful and all-knowing. The Father sent the Son and the Son submits to the Father. The Spirit was sent by the Son and the Spirit testifies of the Son (John 15:26 and John 16:13). The Son knows the Father intimately (Matthew 11:27 and Luke 10:22) and the Father is pleased with the Son (Matthew 3:17, 17:5).
We call the
Godhead the Trinity because this term demonstrates that God is one God who
exists in three persons.
What do we believe about the scriptures? The bible is a collection of writings made by several ancient writers who were moved by the Holy Spirit to write what God wanted to communicate to all men and women (2 Peter 1:16-21). Most importantly, all of scripture comes to its apex in the Person of Jesus Christ; He is the summation and pinnacle of all that God has to say to mankind (Hebrews 1:1-4).
We do not
believe that God can add any new revelation to the ultimate revelation set
out in Christ. All of the written Word is about Christ, and Christ is the
Word made flesh. What is the purpose of this ministry?
