How did you come to believe the gospel of
the Lord Jesus Christ?
I can't really remember not believing that Jesus was Lord and knowing
why He came, died and rose again. I do remember at the age of 11, mulling
over Romans 10 one day at church during the altar call. I considered the
part about confession with your mouth and thought, "Well, just to be on
the safe side, I'd better confess in front of the congregation." (The mind
of an 11 year old.)
What types of music do you enjoy?
I have been fortunate enough to listen to and enjoy a variety of music
genres throughout my life, but I have a particular fondness of early
Contemporary Gospel, like Walter Hawkins and the Thompson Community
Singers.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I don't really have a lot of hobbies, but I do enjoy reading in my
leisure time.
Where are you originally from?
I was born in Chicago, raised in the Chicago/North Shore suburbs, and
currently reside on the south side of Chicago.
Tell us about your personal life.
My parents Rudolph and Debra Bailey are the best. I have a younger
brother, Douglas, whom I love dearly. I have the most wonderful family;
they are loving and supportive. They have shown me what Godly love is.
What has your experience with Joshua
Jeneration been like?
It has been one of the most beneficial ministries in my own Christian
walk. Christ is who we sing about and Christ is what we live. The teaching
and compassion, accountability and encouragement that I have personally
experienced from these brothers and sistas -- it is fo sho the love of
Christ! |
